Prof. Hu Xichun, Chief physician, Doctoral supervisor of Fudan University, is the Director of the Department of Medical Oncology in Fudan University Shanghai Cancer Center. He presently serves as the member of ESMO breast cancer faculty; ABC 5&6 panelist; Chairman of Cancer of Multiple and Unknown Primaries, the Chinese Anti-Cancer Association (CACA); Vice chairman of Medical Oncology Expert Committee in the cancer branch of the Chinese Medical Association (CMA); Vice chairman of the Breast Cancer Academic Committee in the Chinese Research Hospital Association; Expert of the evaluation center of the State Food and Drug Administration, and etc.
Prof. Hu is mainly committed to the medical diagnosis & treatment of breast cancer, especially the optimization of the treatment of triple-negative breast cancer and the research and development of new anti-tumor drugs. He has published more than 200 full papers about breast cancer, including Nature Communications, Molecular Cancer, Lancet Oncology, and has edited 9 monographs. Dr. Hu has been awarded with the First Prize of the Science and Technology Award of CACA; the First Prize of the National Maternal and Child Health Science and Technology Award; the First Prize of Shanghai Medical Science and Technology Progress Award. In 2021, he won the honor of Leading Talents in Shanghai. He has successively presided over one major scientific and technological project of the 13th Five-year Plan about "Major New Drug Creation", the general projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the projects of the Shanghai Science and Technology Commission and other provincial projects.
