Dr. Hu received his bachelor degree in Foundational Medical Science in Fudan University in 2003. He received his Ph.D. degree of molecular oncology at State key Laboratory for Oncogenes and Related Genes, Shanghai Cancer Institute, Fudan University in 2008. And he also has pharmaceutical industry experience in Shangpharma and postdoctoral experiences in M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, (Houston, TX) during 2008-2012. In 2012, he joined in Fudan University Shanghai Cancer Center as Professor and Principle Investigator. Currently, he is the Associate director of Precision Cancer Medicine Center (PCMC), Assistant director of the Fudan University Shanghai Cancer Institute and the secretary of Key Laboratory of Breast Cancer in Shanghai.
Dr. Hu is majorly investigating breast cancer genetics, DNA damage repair mechanism and library screening. His works have been published in Cancer Cell, Cell Research, Hepatology, Nature Commun, Cancer Research, Journal of Biological Chemistry and other journals.
Research Focus: 1. Breast Cancer Genetics; 2. Chemoresistance; 3. DNA Damage Response; 4. High-throughput Screening Development.
