Dr. Liang received her B.S degree from Jilin University in 2001 and obtained her PhD degree from Peking Union Medical College (PUMC) in 2006. From 2006 to 2013, she began to study the role of microRNAs in initiation and progression of cancers in state key laboratory of oncogenes and related genes, Shanghai Cancer Institute as assistant professor and associate professor, respectively. Since 2013, Dr. Liang joined Fudan University Shanghai Cancer Center and Institutes of Biomedical Sciences, Shanghai Medical College, Fudan University.

We are interested in function and molecular mechanism of non-coding RNA in carcinogenesis and progression of cancer. We have been supported by the Key Specialized Project for the Infectious Diseases, National Natural Science Foundation of China, 973 Key Basic Research Program and Shanghai Municipal Health Bureau. Our results have been published on Hepatology, Oncogene, Theranostic, etc. Our research was rewarded by ministry of education of People’s Republic of China and Shanghai Medical Association.

Research Focus:

We focus on the molecular mechanism of gastrointestinal cancers and specially focus on the role of non-coding RNA regulating cancer initiation and metastasis.
