From July 2005 to May 2018, Dr. Yanworked in State Key Laboratory of Oncogenes and Related Genes, Shanghai Cancer Institute as an associate professor, and from June 2018, she joined the Cancer Institute of Fudan University Shanghai Cancer Center and held the position of director of the laboratory animal center. At present, she is the director of Shanghai Association for Laboratory Animal Sciences, vice chairman of the Committee of Resources and facilities of Shanghai Association for Laboratory Animal Sciences, and a member of editorial Committee of Laboratory Animal and Comparative Medicine. Her research projects mainly focus on the screening and establishment of animal models with high metastasis, tumor metastasis related molecular mechanisms and anti-tumor metastasis therapy. As the first author and corresponding author, she has published more than 10 papers. At the same time, she has participated in the publication of more than 20 papers. In recent  years, she has been in charge of 10 research projects, including  National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Foundation of Shanghai Science and Technology Commission. Meanwhile, she was also the major research member in several other projects. As the first inventor, she applied for four national invention patents and participated in five applications, among which two obtained patent authorization. She participated in editing professional books and won the third prize of Shanghai medical science and technology award.
